MA Marketing and Innovation - Top Up

The course is designed for marketing professionals who have prior experience and have successfully completed the CIM Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing. You will be aiming to further your career and build your understanding of innovation within the context of strategic marketing.

The objective of this course is to provide a sound and coherent foundation in marketing and innovation such that the you will be able to define and execute practical marketing activities that exist in professional practice.

You will build on your understanding of the theoretical frameworks of strategic marketing to include design and innovation as applied to marketing and appreciate the practical value of these frameworks in a range of strategic business situations. You will also achieve a respected academic qualification by studying for just two extra modules beyond your CIM Professional Postgraduate Diploma.

Assessment strategies in the modules have been designed to allow students to demonstrate practical skills of data management and manipulation, synthesis of ideas in application and to communicate outcomes to others in different marketing situations. Normally this is done through assignment and there are no formal examinations in the programme.

A part time evening programme will take up to 9 months to complete.
