CIM Chartered Postgraduate Diploma (Stage 1)
This qualification incorporates the knowledge and skills required by marketing professionals who aspire to work, or who need greater awareness of working, at the strategic level. It will enable you to influence strategic decisions in an organisation to create value for customers and other stakeholders, manage and measure marketing activities undertaken as part of the implementation of a customer-focussed strategy and to formulate, present and justify a creative, customer, focused and innovative strategy for any given context.
It is suitable for anyone with the Professional Diploma in Marketing, A business or marketing Bachelors or Masters degree (or an equivalent qualification) where a minimum of half of the credits come from marketing (i.e., 180 credits in Bachelor degrees and 90 credits in Master degrees) AND a range of experience working at a marketing mangerial level that has provided potential students with the ability to evidence that they can meet the learning outcomes of the CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing. A CV will be required to support application to this programme.
This course will enable you to gain the latest skills and knowledge for effective strategy and planning and keep you at the forefront of current practice. Achievement of the qualification enables you to become an Associate or Full Member of the CIM and enables you to work towards Chartered Marketer status. It also provides accelerated entry onto our MA Marketing and Innovation Masters programme.

London School of Marketing's CIM Chartered Postgraduate Diploma course is assessed by one formal three hour examination for Analysis & Decision and an assignment per module for the remaining three modules.
The CIM Chartered Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing (Stage 1) takes approximately one year to complete when studied in part time evening mode.
Typically students will study Emerging Themes an Market Leadership & Planning in term one. In term two students study towards Analysis & Decision and Managing Corporate Reputation.
