Nelly Weerasinghe

Profile

Nelly Weerasinghe has had a diverse & a versatile career spanning over 5 years, with exposure to many interesting and demanding fields such as, Customer Retention, Brand Development and Finance/Accounting. She has worked for organisations such as Suntel, a leading and an innovative telecommunications provider in Asia, ETV, a popular terrestrial television station in Asia and her last appointment was at Swiss Foundation for Mine Action (FSD)- a Non- Governmental Organization based in Switzerland, prior to joining LS.

She holds a professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from CIM (ACIM). She is currently reading for her MBA from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia. Her core specialisation has been Marketing and Management.

Nelly has managed approximately 1800 students for CIM and CAM with an uninterrupted and continuous success rate in excess of 80%. She is ably supported by a team of 4 professional educators, qualified in Marketing and Management.

Her approach to tutoring has been highly qualitative whilst maintaining required quantitative and intrinsic values. She adopts an inter-active, flexible tutoring process that students find dynamic and easily communicable. A thoroughly committed, creative and a determined professional, Nelly imparts knowledge, learning and skills with a ‘Sky’s the limit’ policy and has been commended by many past LS students for total dependability. Her pleasant and amicable personality makes her a very popular tutor amongst the LS students.
