Ereena Abeyakoon is a highly acclaimed state university lecturer and prior to joining the LS academic team specialized in lecturing the following subject areas- Marketing, Management and Business Law.

Ereena holds an Honours Degree in Science with specialization in Marketing, Management, Human Resource Management and Business Law and during her honours year was awarded ‘the best overall performer’ title in her faculty, which in itself is a remarkable achievement.

In addition to her Honours Degree in Science, Ereena also holds a Professional Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from CIM and a Diploma in Business Information and Technology. She is currently reading for her MBA specialising in Marketing.

Ereena is working under the ‘Marketing’ pillar of the LS academic team and is responsible for the CIM Introductory Certificate, the Marketing Essentials module of the CIM Professional Certificate and the Managing Marketing module of the CIM Professional Diploma. Ereena supervised more than 200 students in 2009 and her students recorded an impressive pass rate of over 83%. Ereena is very popular among students who have appreciated her tutoring which has frequently been acknowledged as friendly, attentive and supportive.
