Kathryn Hellewell
After completing a BSc in Hotel and Catering Management at the University of Surrey, Kathryn decided Hotel Management wasn’t for her and embarked on a career in Marketing. Her first job was in direct marketing and communications for World Challenge Expeditions.
In 1997 Kathryn completed her CIM Post Graduate Diploma and shortly afterwards joined British Airways where she spent 4 years. Her final role with the airline was as a Brand Manager for the Executive Club, defining the brand experience and benefits for Gold and Premier tier members.
When marketing budgets in travel hit an all time low following 9/11, Kathryn took a sabbatical from BA and headed to the sunnier climes of Sydney. There she joined a national cinema chain, Hoyts, and combined a CRM role with New Media, responsible for www.hoyts.com.au and all digital communication.
In 2005 Kathryn returned to London where she has spent the last 3 years as Digital Marketing Manager for Vue Entertainment.
