CAM Diploma in Marketing Communications
This qualification is ideal for marketers who are concerned with managing the marketing communication process at an either operational or tactical level. The aim of the CAM Diploma syllabus is to provide an in-depth understanding of the principle methods of communication used by organisations in the achievement of their business/marketing communications objectives. The examinations and assignments are designed to assess your knowledge of these communication methods as well as your ability to apply and interpret that knowledge.
It is suitable for anyone with the CIM Diploma in Marketing qualification, any recognised UK degree or equivalent level 5 qualification and/or 2 years of experience in a marketing communications role.
The course will enable you to gain in depth knowledge of all the key elements needed for planning and executing integrated campaigns. You will gain far greater breadth of knowledge and competence than work experience alone can ever provide and the course will enable you to experience up to date, relevant knowledge of both the theory and the reality of present and future marketing communication practice.

- The Marketing and Consumer Behaviour and Integrated Media modules of the CAM Diploma are assessed by written assignment.
- The Advertising, Public Relations and Direct Marketing and Sales Promotion modules of the CAM Diploma are assessed by formal examination. You will be required to sit one exam for each of these modules.
The CAM Diploma in Marketing Communications takes approximately one year to complete when studied in part time evening mode.
