Copywriting Essentials for Marketers - Foundation Level Course

Throughout the course, students will learn to understand the role of the copywriter, the craft and process involved, and will discover the art of how to write clear, concise, compelling and persuasive text. In this course, students will collaborate as a team to produce copy for a finished advertising campaign.
Marcie MacLellan
Marcie is a senior marketer and professional writer with more than 12 years of experience. She started her career in journalism before crossing over into advertising in 1999. Today, she is the founder of a niche advertising agency based in Canada and the UK, and counts world recognised brands among its clientele. She has published over 300 business articles, has been a scriptwriter for films airing in the UK, the US and Canada and has contributed to the books ‘Whole-Being Retail Branding’ and ‘What Canadians Think.’ Lecturing since 2001, she holds an MA in Screenwriting and Production, and a BA in Journalism.
