Quality Assurance Agency (QAA)

Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) offer advice, guidance and support to help UK universities, colleges and other institutions provide the best possible student experience of higher education.

QAA conducts reviews of institutions and publish reports detailing the findings. QAA’s reports highlight good practice and contain recommendations to help improve quality. Universities and colleges Admissions Service (UCAS)

Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) is the organisation responsible for managing applications to higher education courses in the UK. Not only does UCAS process more than two million applications for full-time undergraduate courses every year, but UCAS helps students to find the right course.

Listed Bodies Order – Department of Business, Innovation and Skills

The UK has a well-deserved reputation world-wide for providing high quality and well-respected higher education. There are well over 100 institutions in the UK that are permitted to award a wide variety of degrees to suit most educational aspirations (known as “recognised bodies”).

In addition to institutions awarding degrees, there are also several hundred colleges and other institutions which do not have degree-awarding powers but who provide complete courses leading to recognised UK degrees. Courses at these institutions are validated by institutions which have degree awarding powers. These institutions are known as “Listed Bodies”.

Skills Funding Agency

Skills Funding Agency’s, Register of Training Organisations is a single list of organisations that have been successful in the Skills Funding Agency's Due Diligence Assurance Gateway process for the delivery of education and training services.

The Register includes organisations that have a current direct funding agreement with the Skills Funding Agency as well as organisations that are subcontractors to Agency lead providers and organisations that have no direct or indirect relationship with the Agency at this time.

BACs provide the leading mark of educational quality for the sector, which is used by students, parents, agencies and beyond as a guarantee of standards. All BAC providers have been rigorously inspected, with the latest reports available on their website. Institutions that carry BAC endorsement and the BAC mark therefore represent some of the leading and most reliable private colleges and training providers in the UK.

In March 2015, received accreditation for four years as an online, distance and blended learning provider from the British Accreditation Council (BAC) for Independent Further and Higher Education.
